General appearance

Head
- strong, wide and rather square
- few folds, which are symmetrically arranged Upper head

- slightly managing brow sheet, the eyes are seperated by a furrow

Stop
- strong to very strong marked

Face head
Nose
- wide, not too short, few till not at all raised
- Nosetrils well opened and symmetrically, must permit normal nose respiration under all
 circumstances
Mistake
- Nosetrils are so far closed that they reduce the natural respiration of the dog

Muzzle
- not too short, wide, none to little symmetrical folds, then however symmetrically arranged
- a little longer to ensure  a healthy respiration

Lips
- thickly, easily flabby, covers the teeth and the tongue completely

Jaw
- rather wide, from the front seems square shaped, strong
- Lower jaw ends scarcely before the upper jaw
- with closed catch the teeth may not be visible
- Lower jaw appears (as seen from front) directly and parallel under the upper jaw
Mistake
- inclined jaws in the sense of „Wry Jaw “or „Wry Face “are not permitted

Teeth
- 42 teeth
- a little Undershot (up to max. 0,11 inch) is desired
- the teeth may not be visible with closed catch
- the 6 small cutting teeth stand lineally between the catch teeth
- well developed cheek muscules
Mistake
- with closed catch visible teeth
- Shears dentures or over bite
- the absence of more than 4 teeth

Eyes
- woke up expression
- wide used eye of dark color
- large, approximately, not too out-standing
- being on same height
Mistake
- En- or Ektropium

Ears
- Button or Rose ear
- medium sized, broadly at the beginning and at the tip rounded off
- broadly set to the head

- cut down ears are forbidden, as seen in animal law

- curved in the profile line

Back line
- straight to easily rising or minimum curved back line

- Lowering backs

Back
- briefly and wide, however nevertheless somewhat longer than high
- a lot of muscles
- sirloin should be clearly smaller

- wide and deeply, barrel-like, strong rounded ribs

Belly line
- to the rear easily up-swung

Tail
- at present still all tail forms are permitted, the goal are however a normal straight to easy swung

- strong, short

- flattened front foot paws

Front Paws
- round, small “Cat paws”
- not till easily turned out
- Toes are very compact, the claws short and thick
- Bundles are hard and thick
Mistake
- splayed feeds
- to long toes

Rear spar hand
- just and perpendicularly, from the back opinion
- clear bending in the knee joint in the side view
- strong and very muscular
- may be a little longer than front extremities
Mistake
- Cowhocked

Thigh
- muscular

Leap joint
- in relative deep position
- moderately bent
- not too steeply
Mistake
- rotates outward or inside

Rear middle foot
- strong, short

Back Paws
- are approximately, somewhat smaller, " Cat paws"
- not turned out
- Toes are very compact, the claws short and thick

- each deviation from the before mentioned points
- Mistakes are to be judged depending upon degrees of the deviation


N.B.:
Male Dogs must have two obviously normally developed testicles, which are completely in the testicle sack.
